Class Etiquette

What to wear?
Something comfy. Some people like to wear a t-shirt and jogging pants or leggings, others sports or exercise tops and cropped pants.
The most important thing is that you can move (nothing too tight around the waist) and that trousers aren't too long, so you don't risk tripping on them. Bring a fleece, jumper or sweatshirt to put on during savasana (relaxation).
We do the class in bare feet unless there is a medical reason (such as diabetes) for keeping socks on.
You may like to bring a towel and a bottle of water.
Jewellery: Please take off any large pieces of jewellery and long dangly earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
Hair: If your hair is long or falls across your face it's more comfortable during class if it's tied back.
Do I need any special equipment?
If you have your own mat and other yoga "props" we encourage you top bring them. If not, we can provide the equipment needed for new students. All the equipment provided is thoroughly cleaned after each use. You may like to bring your own throw or light blanket for relaxation.
We usually have mats, eye pillows and other props for sale and can advise you on what to buy.

What if I'm late?
If you get held up or arrive just after the class has started, don't worry. Come in quietly, find a space or mat, pop your things to one side, take a few steady, deep breaths and join in when you're ready.
