Yoga
We believe that yoga is for Everybody and Every Body. Our teachers, Anne, Nic, Yvonne and Cat all have their individual styles, but are all passionate about sharing their love of yoga with everyone. Slow, gentle classes to help you relax and gently stretch out tired muscles, dynamic and flowing classes to energise and functional strength classes to develop strength, stamina, flexibility and balance. All our yoga classes include breathwork teaching to support and deepen your practice and end with a meditative relaxation to leave you feeling chilled and revitalised.
There are many different styles of yoga and there's a yoga practice to suit you through all the ages and stages of your life.
We invite beginners to come to any of the slower paced classes to start and then we'll advise on which classes would suit you best.
  • Yoga for All classes offer a general practice to suit everyone.
  • Seasonal Energy Yoga, combines the practice of hatha yoga (asana practice, pranayama, meditations and yoga nidra) with traditional Eastern views of the body and it's energy systems to flow through the seasons with ease. Read more about Seasonal Energy Yoga here
  • Dynamic Flow and Rise and Flow Yoga offer a stronger practice to build heat and power in your practice
  • Yin Yoga, a slow practice using cushions, pillows and blankets for support to encourage deep tissue release, flexibility and mobility
  • Qi Flow Yoga combines traditional yoga prostures with Qi Gong style flowing movement

Fitness Pilates
Focusing on working the body's core muscles this mat based class with Yvonne will help enhance your posture, strength, balance and strength. It's a great compliment to a yoga practice too!

QiGong
QiGong (pronounced cheegong) can be described as being like a moving meditation. Qi is energy and gong means skillful use, so QiGong is skillful use of lifeforce energy.
QiGong dates back thousands of years so is an older practice than Tai Chi (which originated around 850 years ago) and is closely linked with the origins of yoga and meditation.
QiGong is gentle on the body and encourages soft flowing movements through the joints. Although it my appear similar to Tai Chi the movements are less complicated with an emphasis on focusing the mind and relaxing the body and through awareness of the breath creating a sense of meditation and stillness within.
The benefits of a regular QiGong practice include greater energy levels, a calmer, clearer mind and improvement in movement and flexibility.
